Fees Explained

 

Helath Care Travels Fees

In order to operate a platform like Health Care Travels, fees are involved. Please keep in mind Health Care Travels reserves the right to change these fees at any time.

Fees related to Accommodations

Creating a account

Creating an account
is free for all users.

Users do not have to pay to
search for short-term housing on our platform.

Users do not have to pay to list short-term housing accommodation(s) with Health Care Travels.

Service Fee

We charge users a service fee every time a user uses our services.

There is a $50 service fee for Travelers, Property Owners, Host, and Co-Host.

There is a $75 service
fee for Agencies

Processing Fee

There is a $10 processing fee for all auto-draft and auto deposits for bookings over 30 days

Penalty Fees

Overstay

If a property owner informs Health Care Travels and provides proof that any Traveler has stayed beyond their check-out date and time the traveler will be charged a penalty fee of $100. Travelers will also pay the homeowner double their nightly rate each day for any stay not booked or approved by the Property Owner/Host/Co-Host using the account on file. If the traveler does not respond or leave the listing the Property Owner/Host/Co-Host has the authority to call local authorities to have the traveler removed and Health Care Travels will contact the employment agency and recruiter. We also reserve the right to ban any traveler from using our platform if they overstay their reservation. Travelers must respect check-out dates and times for cleaning measures and other upcoming travelers' bookings.

Canceling Approved bookings

Homeowners who cancel bookings after they have already accepted will be charged a penalty fee of $100 if the reason for cancellation does not fall within our Extenuating Circumstance Policy with provided proof. Homeowners must understand that canceling a traveler whom they have already approved may cause an inconvenience to the traveler to find another housing option and Health Care Travels will have to refund the traveler of their booking.

Optional Fees

Rental Analysis

  1. This service is offered to any user who would like a rental analysis of a particular property. The service fee is $19.99 and a report will be emailed to you within 48 hours.

Roommate Finder Service

  1. This service is offered free to Travelers who have booked or are planning to book short-term housing accommodation only through our website. (We will verify if you have an account with us and/or the housing property ID.)
  2. Travelers who are looking for a roommate who either/or already has short-term housing provided elsewhere or not signed up with Health Care Travels will be charged a fee of $10.00 USD if we find a match. Refunds will not be issued if the match does not work out or the potential roommate is no longer needed.

*Health Care Travels does not guarantee that we will find every Traveler a roommate, but we will keep track of all travelers in our database and if there is a potential match with the basic information requested we will contact you by email.

Holiday’s Impact on HCT Payments

Similar to initiating payment on a typical weekend, if you’re initiating your payment on a banking holiday processing times will be delayed until the next business day.

If a Bank Holiday Falls on a Weekday
When a payment is initiated on a bank holiday that falls on a weekday, the transfer will be delayed until the next business day. For example, if you initiate payment on Christmas Day which falls on Friday, it won’t actually initiate until Monday, the next operating business day.

If a Bank Holiday Falls on a Weekend
If a banking holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it could also affect your payment processing date. For example, if a federal holiday falls on a Saturday, it is usually observed on the preceding Friday. Likewise, when a holiday falls on a Sunday, it is usually observed on the following Monday.
